Staff Detail Page

Use the Staff Detail page to review a team member’s shift history, update their hourly rate, and export shift data as a CSV or Print/PDF.

Navigate to the Staff Detail Page

  1. Open POS Time Tracker in Shopify Admin.

  2. Click Staff in the left sidebar.

  3. Select a staff member from the list.

You’ll land on that staff member’s detail page with their shift table.


What You Can Do

From this page, you can:

  • Set the hourly rate for the selected staff member

  • Create shift to add a shift manually

  • Edit/Delete a shift by clicking the shift Start time in the table

  • Delete staff data to remove their activity and scheduled shifts


Filter the Shift Table

Use Date Range to control which shifts appear in the table.

How filtering affects exports

  • The table updates to show only shifts in the selected date range.

  • All export options use the current date range.


Export Shift Data

Use the Export dropdown on the Staff Detail page.

Option 1: Export as CSV

  1. Click Export → CSV.

  2. A payroll-friendly CSV downloads for the current filtered results.

What’s included

  • The same columns shown on screen (shift start/end, location, break hours, regular hours, overtime hours, amount, total hours)

  • A totals row for hours and amount

  • Date/time formatted using your store’s timezone and date format

Option 2: Print (or Save as PDF)

  1. Click Export → Print.

  2. Your browser’s print dialog opens.

  3. Choose either:

    • Print to a physical printer, or

    • Save as PDF

Print layout includes

  • Staff name + ID

  • Date range

  • Generated timestamp

  • Shift table + totals


Important Notes

  • The Export button is disabled when no rows match the selected date range.

  • Only users with Shopify Admin access can manage this page.
